Dr. Wekesa King'Asia received community services award from Nurses Association of counties of long island in recognition of his out standing service to health care profession. He served has preceptor and mentor to many advanced practice nurses in primary care clinical rotation. Also, his special care for under served community such has patients with sickle cell, uninsured, elderly with special need was outstanding. He will be missed by all lifes he has influenced.
